  1. “Women doing theology conference”? I’ve heard of “studying” theology and “teaching” theology. How does one go about “doing” theology?

  2. The Mennonites are fairly diverse, but one strain of it appears to be the origin of the “neo-anabaptist” movement. It’s a small but influential subset of evangelicalism. It’s a kind of leftist Christianity distinct from the mainline variety. And it is implacably hostile to conservatism in all its forms. If you want to learn more about the neo-anabaptist movements and the Mennonite parts of it, James Davison Hunter’s book “To Change the World” gives an overview.
